Magic gives us the ability to imagine and to change. It opens up a world of infinite possibilities, connecting us with the child we were and still are. Tim’s Photography style of a fairy-tale world and out of the ordinary situations is a light hearted and whimsical source of inspiration
We wanted to thank our friend Juanita who agreed to modeling the collection for our look book and this website. We met Juanita from working together in the past and remained friends ever since. She’s a very talented designer who is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well. Thank you Lovely Lady!
I drew these illustrations on my computer during the design stage because that's how I saw the look developing. I wanted to draw them in a poster style similar to Patrick Nagel and called it "renaissance poster girl". The name represents a rebirth or a re-awakening of the past that is prevalent in our Spring 2010 collection. Doing a lot of graphic work in my past, poster style art has always been most interesting to me for it's control and strong graphic qualities. Even though the girls have a modernized look the overall energy reminds me a bit of Carré Otis back in the 80's. - E -
As a child I plastered my bedroom walls with these posters, and I remember thinking, wow…these women look so strong and beautiful. I wanted to be like them, even though they were just a drawing. I will always identify his imagery as being representative of the best part of the 80’s for their powered self-improving sentiments. - E -
